And we have names! Scratch's name was one of the first things I came up with, but I wasn't actually sure about Myriam until I wrote it out. I didn't know it was going to have a 'y' in it until I wrote it out either... Scratch has somehow put his shirt on by pulling a sleeve over the same arm twice. Try to be distracted by Myriam's dangerous-looking scalpel trick. We also have our first real inkling of story here, and some character interaction. And we learn that Zed is capable of speaking up occasionally to save friends from having IVs ripped painfully out of their arms. Damn, that hurts just thinking about it. Some of you may be wondering why Zed doesn't look a great deal like a mongoose. This is because I have never actually seen a live one and my entire concept of them is based off of Rikki-Tikki-Tavi from the Jungle Book (y'know, the one that's actually a book.) One last thing: I realized Scratch looks kind of chibi in the last panel. This is a bad drawing, not deliberate.
